Registration for Conference

Registration for the LuWQ2022 conference takes place through a dedicated online link to the LuWQ2022 Conference Secretariat (see below the click button “YOU CAN REGISTER …”). You can use this link:

  • To register for the conference and pay the registration fee (early or late). This fee includes:
    • refreshments (coffee breaks) and lunches on the four conference days (Monday through Thursday, 12-15 September 2022),
    • Reception – Icebreaker (Sunday, 11 September 2022),
    • Maastricht Town Hall Reception (Monday, 12 September 2022, 18:00 to 19:00), and
    • Conference Dinner (Tuesday, 13 September 2022);
  • To register for the conference and pay the STUDENT registration fee. The fee includes the same social events as listed above for the regular early and late fee.
    • PLEASE NOTE that registration as student is possible only after explicit permission received from the organisers. For information about the reduced student fee, please refer to the webpage https://www.luwq2022.nl/registration/registration-fee/, in particular the last section of this webpage.
  • Optionally, to register an accompanying person and pay the accompanying person fee. This fee includes:
    • Reception – Icebreaker (Sunday, 11 September 2022),
    • Maastricht Town Hall Reception (Monday, 12 September 2022, 18:00 to 19:00), and
    • Conference Dinner (Tuesday, 13 September 2022);
  • Optionally, to book the Maastricht Dine Around (Walking Dinner), to take place right after the Maastricht Town Hall Reception (from 19:00) on Monday, 12 September 2022.

Below follows a number of issues relevant for those who register for the conference.

This INFO is for participants who pay the conference fee via INVOICE for BANK TRANSFER
1) During registration you can choose the option 'bank transfer'. 
2) After registering you will receive an invoice (PDF file) in your mailbox.
3) Forward the invoice to your financial department to pay the fee amount.
The registration is complete after the fee payment was received by Conference Secretariat.

1. You will have the choice to use one of the following payment methods
On the Payment section you can chose the method of payment you require. The options are:

  • Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa, Amex). Surcharges may be applied by your bank. If you select a credit card you will proceed directly to a secure online payment page.
  • iDeal or Bancontact (for Dutch or Belgian participants only).
  • Invoice for bank transfers payment. Please provide the invoice address.

2. Payment of the conference fee
Your registration is complete when the payment of registration fee has been received. Regardless of your method of payment, in view of the deadline of end of Tuesday 7 June 2022 (local Netherlands time) for early fee registration, it is expected that the payment of early fee is received on the conference bank account by end Tuesday 7 June 2022. Otherwise the late fee applies automatically.

3. IMPORTANT/CRUCIAL for those whose work was accepted for ORAL or POSTER PRESENTATION
Please note the deadline of end Thursday 25 August 2022 (local time in the Netherlands). The payment of your late fee should be received by end Thursday 25 August 2022, otherwise to our regret:

  • your presentation will be omitted from the Conference Programme; and
  • your abstract will be omitted from the Volume of Abstracts

4. IMPORTANT for non-presenting participants - Please register and pay the fee by end Thursday 1 September 2022
The possibility to register at the Late registration fee will be closed end of Thursday 1 September 2022 (local time in the Netherlands). If you do not make this deadline you can register and pay the fee after your arrival onsite at the LuWQ2022 registration desk. However, unfortunately in that case: it will no more be possible to add your name to the List of Participants.

5. After you have completed the registration, you should receive a confirmation e-mail
If you have NOT received the confirmation email… before contacting the Conference Secretariat, first please check the spam box of your e-mail provider.
