Reception – Icebreaker & Town Hall
You can attend two receptions, both included in the registration fee.
Icebreaker on Sunday 11 September 2022
When:
September 11, 2022 from 18:00 to 20:00.
During the Icebreaker, there will be Pre-registration of participants.
Where:
The Icebreaker reception will take place in the beautiful 'Wyck' district of Maastricht. With cozy streets, hip hotels, authentic stores, and bustling business, Wyck rightfully forms a warm 'welcome' to the rest of the city.
In this district lies the authentic and cozy 'Stadsherberg de Poshoorn (City Tavern & Pub de Poshoorn)'. A pub where you are at the right place for one (or more) special beer(s) and Burgundian regional dishes.

No transport has been arranged to this location. This location can easily be reached on foot or by public transport. The walking distance between the congress venue (MECC Maastricht) and 'Stadsherberg de Poshoorn' is about 2 km / 25 minutes.
Registration:
During your online registration (via this link), you will have to indicate whether you will yes-no attend this Icebreaker reception, which is included in the registration fee. We realize that you cannot all attend because it is the arrival day and a Sunday. Therefore, those of you who will not attend, please select “no” during registration.
Maastricht Town Hall Reception on Monday 12 September 2022
When:
September 12, 2022, from 18:00 to 19:00.
Where:
The official welcome reception, offered by the city of Maastricht, will take place at the Maastricht Town Hall. The Town Hall is located in the middle of the Market Square in the centre of Maastricht and has a rich, mostly eighteenth-century interior. The freestanding building, clad entirely in natural stone, was designed by Pieter Post and is considered an important example of Dutch classicism.
Note that right after this reception, those who bought (during online registration) a ticket, can join the optional Maastricht Dine Around (Walking Dinner)”, not included in registration (link here). The Maastricht Town Hall is the starting point for this “walking dinner”.
